Hi, I’m Jia Ying
Jia Ying's journey into photography began as an interest to document her life, while acting as an outlet to grapple and make sense of unresolved issues. Additionally, this drive was deeply influenced by her experience in the visual arts, where she sought to assert ownership over her narrative. Her approach to photography is marked by an experimental spirit, welcoming accidents and imperfections over technical precision, a nod to a past marked by uncertainty yet driven by resilience.
